We are delighted to announce that our Foundation course is now the nationally recognised 'Focus Awards Level 3 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (QCF)'
The Focus Awards Level 3 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (formerly called Foundation Course) provides the opportunity to widen the practical experience of yoga practices, and deepen your practice of yoga. The foundation course opens up the whole topic of yoga beyond asana practice, beyond what can be typically delivered in a weekly class. It also encourages and supports personal development. We run the course twice a year, with an April or October start date.
The course is not a teaching qualification, but is provides excellent ground work for those wishing to go on to take our 200hr diploma course. Those students who have done our foundation course and go on to teacher training find it much easier to get to grips with the key texts, yoga terminology, sitting for pranayama and meditation etc. The course starts in April and October each year and takes place over 6 Sundays.
All the CAMYOGA faculty is formally qualified and experienced in delivering Ofqual (government endorsed) qualifications. Our systems are internally verified by qualified verifiers and all coursework is marked and assessed by level 3 qualified assessors. Quality assurance and standardisation procedures are in place to ensure a very high standard of qualification is achieved by all of our students.
