Teacher Training Programme Manager
Full-time | £30,000-£32,000
This is a new post created in response to the rapid growth and expansion of our yoga teacher training programme, and the delivery of our new formal qualifications.
The post will suit someone that has several years experience working in the education or training sector. As well as the day to day managing of our courses, the role will entail new course development and delivery, management of our growing teaching faculty and student support. There is also a sales element to the role when dealing with prospective student enquiries.
The CAMYOGA yoga teacher training school has been training teachers since 2007 and has an extremely good reputation for turning out teachers of a consistently high quality. This is an exciting opportunity to become key player in this leading UK yoga brand.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the CAMYOGA teacher training programme:
Draw up annual course schedules for the Foundation and Diploma courses and other short courses for teachers.
Assign tutorial staff (tutors, assessors and IQAs).
Ensure compliance with External Awarding Body requirements:
Act as the teacher training lead for all awarding bodies and EQA activity.
Ensure that all tutorial staff meet the required professional standards in education and training.
Review and develop policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Ensure prompt and accurate returns of information to awarding bodies as required.
Lead and implement the IQA strategy on standardisation, moderation and verification:
Arrange regular team meetings.
Guide all tutorial staff on quality assurance, company policies and awarding body requirements.
Oversee all IQA and EQA activity and lead on co-ordination, monitoring and tracking.
Act as assessor/IQA as required.
Ensure outstanding quality of learner experience and achievement:
Monitor, develop and support the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.
Ensure all tutorial staff complete regular continuing professional development (CPD).
Induct and support new members of tutorial staff.
Monitor and develop all course resources (e.g. course manuals/assessment materials).
Complete lesson observations.
Co-ordinate and manage survey/evaluation activities.
Work with other key members of staff to ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place.
Establish and maintain effective systems for communicating with learners.
Undertake any relevant training and take responsibility for own personal development.
Management or co-ordination of education/teacher training provision.
Development and delivery of courses and course planning.
Meeting awarding body requirements within the educational sector.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications (minimum)
Yoga Teacher Qualification 200 hours.
PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
D32/D33, A1, Level 3 Assessor.
D34, V1, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance.
Evidence of CPD.

CAMYOGA Front of House

Our front of house team are vitally important to us, and as anyone who has visited our centres will know, they all have an outstanding level of friendliness and customer care, and we seek and recruit people with those attributes.
The ideal candidates will have exceptional customer-service and be strong team-players with excellent attention to detail. Some sales and front of house experience is essential.
This role involve working shifts, and you will be expected to work some weekends, plus some evenings and day times.
You must also be prepared to work on occasions at any of the three sites.
Volunteers - all sites
At CAMYOGA our volunteers are important to us. In exchange for one 3 1/2 hour shift you will receive one weeks unlimited yoga. If you can commit to one shift per week on an ongoing basis, you effectively get a complimentary GOLD membership.
Volunteers do varied tasks from assisting front of house, cleaning and managing the studios between classes or mat cleaning, to cafe duties such as making smoothies and juices or in our Shelford branch assisting our chef with food preparation and food service. Shifts can be day time or evening, weekdays or weekends.
An ideal CAMYOGA volunteer is someone who is hard working and willing to complete a wide variety of tasks, someone who can work of their own initiative, without constant supervision, and happy to be a part of a friendly hard working team.
