East Anglia Wellness & Yoga: Close to Home Inspiration
Inspirit Wellness Festival (Hosted by Inspirit Yoga Studio)
When: 19th July 2025
Where: Royston, Hertfordshire (specific venue details will be released closer to the event by Inspirit Yoga Studio)

What to Expect: Hosted by Inspirit Yoga Studio, this local wellness festival focuses on bringing together the community for a day of connection and holistic well-being. Expect a variety of yoga classes and workshops (including our very own Floss from CAMYOGA!), mindfulness sessions, holistic therapies, local artisan stalls, and delicious healthy food options. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet local practitioners and deepen your well-being practices in a friendly, supportive environment.

Cambridge Wellness Festival
When: Tuesday 9th September 2025 (11am-6pm)
Where: The Green on Cambridge Biomedical Campus (between Royal Papworth Hospital and AstraZeneca), Cambridge
Cost: FREE!
What to Expect: Prioritise your wellbeing at this local festival! There's no charge for entry or for most activities, making it wonderfully accessible. Expect a full day of activities, stalls, workshops, and expert talks focusing on all aspects of wellness. Activities run throughout the day, so you can join anytime. Look out for tents, festival flags, and potentially free massages, smoothie bikes, and various wellness talks.

Norwich Yoga Festival
When: Saturday 2nd August 2025
Where: Whitlingham Country Park, Norwich
Cost: From £27 for a day ticket, £10 for kids
What to Expect: A delightful day dedicated to yoga, relaxation, and community in the beautiful outdoors. You'll find a variety of yoga classes, workshops, and meditation sessions led by experienced instructors. Plus, local food vendors and a chance to mingle with fellow yogis. It’s a wonderful single-day immersion for all levels.

Life Arts Mind Body Spirit & Wellbeing Festival
Ipswich – Mind Body Spirit & Wellbeing Festival
When: Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th July 2025
Where: Trinity Park, Ipswich, Suffolk

What to Expect: This is the largest and most popular mind, body, and spirit show in the East of England! Organised by Life Arts, it brings together over 100 exhibitors offering complementary therapies, spiritual guidance, health advice, and of course, plenty of free yoga and movement workshops. It’s a vibrant weekend for exploring holistic health in all its forms.

Wellness in the Wild Festival
When: Friday 18th – Sunday 20th July 2025
Where: Rickinghall, Suffolk (exact location provided upon booking)
Cost: Varies - £165 for weekend camping, day tickets also available
What to Expect: Touted as the "ultimate wellness festival" in the stunning Suffolk countryside, this boutique event offers over 150 enriching experiences. The Dead Yogis Society Yoga Camp: Ground & Sound Weekender
When: 20th-22nd June 2025
Where: The Granary, Hasketon, Woodbridge, Suffolk

What to Expect: Organised by a valued member of our wider CAMYOGA community, this intimate "yoga camp" offers a refreshing, ego-free approach to yoga in a beautiful Suffolk setting. Expect a wonderful blend of dynamic and restorative yoga (including Rocket, 4-Beat, Nidra, Yin), breathwork, soothing sound baths, and engaging talks. Delicious plant-based meals are included, making for a truly nourishing weekend. It’s a true community gathering to move, rest, and connect!

CAMYOGA Connections & Further UK Highlights
Barefoot Body Training Yoga Social
When: Sunday 17th August 2025 (10am-2pm)
Where: CAMYOGA Studio 2, 14 George IV Street, Cambridge, CB2 1HH

What to Expect: This isn't a festival, but a very special gathering right here at our CAMYOGA Central studios! Organised by our wonderful friends at Barefoot Body Training (who run their 200-hour Teacher Training at CAMYOGA), this mid-summer event offers an Embodied Flow practice with Floss Harry, followed by a Restorative Practice with Beverley Nolan. It's a fantastic chance for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners to connect, share insights, and enjoy some restorative practice.

Elemental Temple Festival
When: Thursday 19th June – Sunday 22nd June 2025
Where: East Hanney, Oxfordshire
What to Expect: Founded by Kwali Kumara, who some of you might remember teaching with us at CAMYOGA a few years back, this unique festival is a shamanic four-day ceremony. Expect a rich programme of medicinal music, magical offerings, shamanic ceremonies, yoga, meditation, mantra, cacao, drumming, sacred sound, Kosmic Kundalini, and more. It's an alcohol-free, family-friendly event focused on healing, community, and ancient traditions, and it's a fundraiser for Kwali’s 'Plumed Serpent Sanctuary' and 'The Rainforest Trust.'

IYOGA Festival
When: Monday 1st – Friday 5th September 2025
Where: Fairthorne Manor Park, Botley, Hampshire
Cost: Varies: £499 for camping (walk in and other options available)
What to Expect: Founded by senior Iyengar Yoga teacher Rachel Lovegrove, whose precise and intelligent teachings we greatly admire at CAMYOGA, this festival is a must for Iyengar practitioners of all levels. It brings together renowned Iyengar Yoga teachers like Garth McLean and Jayne Orton for deep dives into asana, pranayama, and philosophy. Enjoy a beautiful countryside setting, delicious meals, and evening events. Your participation also supports the YMCA's vital work – a wonderful way to give back while deepening your practice!
CAMYOGA Thoughts: The IYOGA Festival is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the depth and precision of Iyengar Yoga with leading teachers. Given our own studio's offering of Iyengar classes and after the Rachel Lovegrove workshop earlier in May, we recommend this for anyone looking to refine their practice. The added benefit of supporting a charitable cause makes it even more special.

British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Online Summer Solstice Festival
When: Friday 20th June 2025
Where: Online (accessible from anywhere!)

What to Expect: Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Britain's largest yoga membership charity. This online festival features four renowned yoga practitioners leading sessions in pranayama, meditation, unique movement fusions, and uplifting vinyasa flow.

World Yoga Festival
When: Thursday 31st July – Sunday 3rd August 2025
Where: The Henley Showground, Henley-on-Thames
Cost: Varies - 4-day adult ticket £229, 1-day adult £119
What to Expect: An immersive 4-day experience. This festival offers authentic yoga traditions, wisdom talks, music concerts, and workshops from a revered collection of teachers. It’s described as "somewhere between retreat and festival," providing a profound opportunity to explore yoga as a holistic way of life, from asana to kirtan.

Buddhafield Festival

What to Expect: A unique, family-friendly, and alcohol/drug-free festival celebrating community and connection.
