This page sets out CAMYOGA’s terms, cancellation policies, membership policies, privacy information, and cookie information.

By booking a class, course, workshop, event, membership, pass, or teacher training with CAMYOGA, you agree to the relevant terms and policies below.

Terms & Conditions

Refund and cancellation policy: classes, courses and workshops

Courses and in-house teacher workshops

For courses and in-house teacher workshops, we require a minimum of one month’s notice for a refund.

Visiting teacher workshops and teacher training short courses

For visiting teacher workshops and teacher training short courses, we require a minimum of 90 days’ notice for a refund.

Credits and drop-ins

Credits and drop-ins are:

  • non-refundable

  • non-transferable

  • not valid for workshops, courses, teacher training, or special events unless clearly specified at the time of booking

Memberships and unlimited passes

Memberships and unlimited class passes are:

  • non-refundable

  • non-transferable

  • valid for drop-in classes only unless otherwise stated

  • not valid for workshops, courses, teacher training, or special events unless clearly specified at the time of booking

When purchasing a membership, pass, or credits, you do so with the understanding that class schedules may change from time to time. Teachers, class times, class styles, and the timetable may vary, and undersubscribed classes may occasionally be changed or discontinued.

Special events

Some special events may have their own cancellation policy. Where this applies, the relevant cancellation terms will be shown at the time of booking or in your booking confirmation.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Refund and cancellation policy: teacher training qualifications

Deposits and first instalments for teacher training qualifications advertised in the training section of the CAMYOGA website are non-refundable.

Where teacher training fees are paid in two instalments, the first instalment, representing 50% of the full fee, is non-refundable.

Once the full fee has been paid, the second instalment, representing the remaining 50% of the full fee, is refundable as follows:

  • Two months or more before the course start date: 50% of the second instalment may be refunded

  • Less than two months before the course start date: 25% of the second instalment may be refunded

  • Less than one month before the course start date: no refund is available

With no less than two months’ notice, we may be able to defer your place to another course start date, subject to availability.

A request to defer with less than two months’ notice may incur a deferral fee.

If a course is cancelled by CAMYOGA, we will offer a full refund of fees paid for that course.

Class cancellation policy

Early cancellation

If you cancel more than 2 hours before the class start time, this is classed as an early cancellation.

You will not be charged for the session, and your space will be released to another student. If there is a waiting list, the space will be offered to the first person on the waiting list.

Late cancellation

If you cancel less than 2 hours before the class start time, this is classed as a late cancellation.

If you are using credits, your credit will be used as if you had attended the class.

No-shows

If you do not attend a booked class and do not cancel in advance, this will be treated as a late cancellation.

Please email us if you need assistance cancelling a class.

Memberships, passes and credits

Unlimited memberships and class passes may be used for drop-in classes.

They are not valid for workshops, courses, teacher training, or special events unless clearly stated at the time of booking.

Credits, drop-ins, memberships, and passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Concessions

We offer a 10% discount to eligible concession groups, including:

  • seniors / OAPs

  • full-time students

  • NHS employees

  • those in receipt of income support or similar support

We may ask for proof of eligibility. Please contact us for full details.

Bursaries and subsidised memberships

CAMYOGA is committed to making yoga and movement as accessible as possible.

We may offer bursary or subsidised memberships at our discretion. Applications are reviewed individually and confidentially.

We may ask for information about your circumstances, income, benefits, financial support, health, caring responsibilities, or other relevant information to assess your application.

Information submitted through a bursary application will only be used to assess and administer your bursary or subsidised membership. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Age policy

Drop-in classes are open to students aged 16 and over. We may require proof of age.

Children under the age of 16 may attend classes only if:

  • this has been approved by the teacher or CAMYOGA team in advance

  • they are accompanied by a parent or carer

  • the parent or carer is present in the actual class, not in the café or another area of the building

The parent or carer is responsible for the child throughout the class and must ensure there is no disruption. CAMYOGA reserves the right to ask the parent or carer to leave with the child if needed.

Health and wellbeing

CAMYOGA classes, workshops, courses, and online content are not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You are responsible for deciding whether a class, course, workshop, or activity is suitable for you. If you have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, or any concern about your health, please seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Please tell the teacher before class if there is anything relevant they should know to help keep your practice safe and appropriate.

You should stop immediately and seek support if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, or significant discomfort.

Behaviour

CAMYOGA is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated in the studio, online, by phone, by email, or in any communication with CAMYOGA staff, teachers, management, or other students.

This includes behaviour or language that is profane, discriminatory, intimidating, harassing, or in breach of our values and community standards.

Anyone exhibiting such behaviour may be asked to leave immediately. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.

CAMYOGA reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel bookings, suspend accounts, or ban future attendance where we consider it appropriate.

Using the CAMYOGA website and booking system

You may book classes, courses, workshops, events, memberships, passes, and credits through our website and online booking system.

We use WellnessLiving as our booking system. When you create an account, make a booking, purchase a pass or membership, or manage your schedule, your information may be processed through WellnessLiving.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You may only make bookings for yourself, or for someone else if you are authorised to act on their behalf.

All bookings are subject to these terms and policies.

Payment processing

Payments are processed securely using our booking and payment providers, including WellnessLiving and Paysafe.

Please do not send card details to us by email.

Your payment information is handled by our payment providers. CAMYOGA does not store your full card details directly.

Website information

The information on the CAMYOGA website is provided for general information only.

It is not intended to provide medical, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice.

CAMYOGA accepts no responsibility for loss arising from reliance on information on the website, except where required by law.

Our website may contain links to external websites. CAMYOGA is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of external websites.

  • Bursary and concession applications: kept for 12 months after application submitted, unless a longer period is needed for legal, financial, or safeguarding reasons

  • Health or accessibility information: kept only for as long as needed to support safe participation, unless a longer period is needed for legal, insurance, or safeguarding reasons

  • General enquiries: kept for as long as needed to respond and manage the enquiry, some enquiries may be kept for staff training purposes
