We believe that understanding anxiety can be one of the most powerful steps towards change. Anxiety Unlocked is a structured six-week anxiety support course designed to help you understand how anxiety is created in the mind and body, and to develop practical, lasting tools to work with it differently.
This course takes place at our calm, purpose-built studio in central Cambridge and is open to all, including complete beginners.
Anxiety Unlocked is a transformational six-week programme that combines education, gentle movement and deep relaxation or hypnosis. Rather than focusing on short-term coping strategies, the course supports meaningful, long-term change by helping you understand anxiety at its roots.
Across the six weeks, you will learn how anxiety is formed, how it is maintained, and how to reduce its impact on your thoughts, emotions and everyday life. Each session is designed to leave you feeling calmer, clearer and more confident in your ability to handle challenges as they arise.
This is not about forcing positivity or fixing yourself. It is about knowledge, compassion and building skills that support resilience and wellbeing.
What Is Anxiety Unlocked?
Anxiety is not a personal failure or weakness. It is a natural response created by the brain’s survival system. When this system becomes overstimulated, anxiety can remain switched on even when there is no immediate threat.

Each weekly session follows a supportive and consistent structure:
Clear, accessible education to help you understand anxiety, stress and the nervous system.

A gentle yoga flow designed to support balance, grounding and nervous system regulation. Suitable for beginners.
❋ MOVE
Guided deep relaxation and hypnosis to help release stored stress, process emotion and embed positive change.
❋ RELAX
Weekly Course Programme
Understanding how the brain works, the rational mind and the survival mind, how anxiety is created, and the stress bucket model for storing and releasing stress.
Week 1
Reducing anxiety through the three pillars, building your personal toolkit, and learning how neuroplasticity allows the brain to form more positive pathways.
Week 2
The three types of stress, how hypnosis supports emotional processing, and the role of sleep and exercise in building positive neurotransmitters.
Week 3
Radiators and drains in relationships, navigating interpersonal stress, intrusive thoughts, and understanding procrastination and how to break free from it.
Week 4
Understanding fears and phobias, how they develop, and pathways towards relief from trauma and a positive way forward.
Week 5
Refining your toolkit, keeping the stress bucket balanced, and exploring hope, dreams and positive future planning.
Week 5
Supporting Change Beyond the Studio
To support integration and long-term benefit, the course includes:
A small amount of pre-course preparatory work
A hypnotherapy recording to listen to nightly during the course
These elements are an important part of the programme and help reinforce learning, support nervous system regulation and encourage consistency between sessions.
Meet Your Teacher Vicky McFarlane
Vicky McFarlane is a qualified Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Yoga Teacher with over 25 years of experience supporting people struggling with anxiety. This course brings together her clinical expertise and embodied teaching approach into a deeply effective and compassionate programme of change.
